Accessing SETA discretionary funding:

In terms of the Skills Development Levies Act Companies are entitled to claim additional funding from their Sectoral Education Training Authority (SETA).

These amounts vary according to the type of training that the employer wishes to implement.  Employers are also entitled to claim a tax rebate from SARS when implementing learnership programmes.
